Want to find out what your name represents as a Magickal numeric symbol? Use this chart to find out.

Below is an elementary chart so that you can sum up your name to a specific number. Following that, I will give short descriptions of what each number means so you know where you stand in the numeric spectrum. I will also try to clear up some confusion around how certain letters represent certain numbers.

There are 26 letters in the English alphabet, so you may be wondering: “How does “L”, the 12th letter in the alphabet, correspond to the number 3?”

L, for example, represents the number 3 because 1 + 2 = 3. When numbers represent double digits, you take each one and add them together to get their simplest number. Double-digit number do have specific meanings all their own, like I spoke about the number 11 in a recent blog post about numerological numbers to look out for.

For this post, though, we will just be focusing on the single digit numbers. Plus, most double-digit numbers correspond to their single-digit counterparts in most ways.

I will be giving both positive and negative interpretations of these numbers, too. While negativity may frighten you, just know that negative energy is very easy to turn positive by focusing on the beneficial aspects of your numerological life path.

EXAMPLE:

As many of you know, my name is Laci. So, I’ll use my first name as an example.

L = 3 A = 1 C = 3 I = 9

3 + 1 + 3 + 9 = 16

1 + 6 = 7

So, for my first name, my life path is 7. See NUMBER 7 below to see the interpretation of that number. It is best to use your full name to get your full life path.

NUMBER 1:

Positive: Beginnings, leadership, confidence, sufficiency, determination, self-reliance

Negative: Struggling, loneliness, trouble completing projects, co-dependency

NUMBER 2:

Positive: Balance, harmony, relationship-focused, team player, purpose, peace

Negative: Interpersonal conflict, stubbornness, instability, emotional turmoil

NUMBER 3:

Positive: Love, wisdom, well-being, family, following dreams, financial independence, playfulness

Negative: Unhealthiness, risk-taking, poverty, hubris, ego-centric, shyness

NUMBER 4:

Positive: Stability, physical and emotional health, strong sense of justice, trustworthiness, self-control

Negative: Temper-having, low emotional control, self-criticism, dishonesty

NUMBER 5:

Positive: Free-spirited, independent, productive, social, cleverness, intelligence, sensual

Negative: Carelessness, irresponsible behavior, inconsistency, restlessness, self-centeredness

NUMBER 6:

Positive: Open hearted, sensitive, empathic, selfless, family oriented, caring, devoted

Negative: Self-sabotage, easily taken advantage of, idealistic, mopey, overly emotional

NUMBER 7:

Positive: Spiritual, introspective, enlightened, kind, giving, anti-materialistic, high consciousness, helpful

Negative: Depressive, prideful, self-righteousness, inner conflict

NUMBER 8:

Positive: Motivation, wealth, materialistic, business-focused, efficient, pragmatic

Negative: Profit-driven, rule-focused, career-driven, pessimism, un-empathetic

NUMBER 9:

Positive: Human treatment of others, charitable, compassionate, sharing, team player, non-individualist

Negative: Too forgiving, distrusting, easy to hurt, emotional, lazy
